PM Modi Mother Passed Away : Prime Minister Narendra Modi carries mortal remains of his mother

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mother Heeraba Modi passed away on Friday at the age of 100. She was recently hospitalised in Gujarat's Ahmedabad and was previously reported to be recovering. Taking to Twitter, PM Modi wrote an emotional post remembering his mother, "A glorious century rests at the feet of God... In Maa I have always felt that trinity, which contains the journey of an ascetic, the symbol of a selfless Karmayogi and a life committed to values." A bulletin from the UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre, where she was admitted on Wednesday, informed that Hiraben has passed away.
