Odisha: BDO picks up spade to compensate for lack of labourers
Dharmraj Manjhi, a Block Development Officer (BDO) in Odisha picked up a spade and started working alongside labourers when there was lack of manpower for the government work. The labourers were working for a project under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana scheme. A beneficiary of the scheme was unable to find labourers to build a house and hence, BDO decided to help him out.
