No violence should take place in Bengal now: Mamata Banerjee after taking oath as CM
Soon after the Assembly election results were announced and TMC was declared the winner incidents of violence were reported from different parts of the state. Assuring peace in the state, TMC chief Mamata Banerjee said, that there will be no political violence as she has stepped in as Chief Minister. "Bengal does not like violence nor do I. I will personally look into the law and order issues and make sure there's peace," Mamata Banerjee said after being appointed as CM for the third term.
Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar said that he hopes that Mamata will obey Constitution
