During Nivar cyclone, Marina Beach's sand comes onto the streets in Chennai due to strong winds. With the sand shifting to the road, there seems to be no difference between road and the beach. Meanwhile, corporations are now clearing the road with a steer loading machine. In parts of Tamil Nadu and Chennai, there was torrential rain and strong winds on Wednesday, due to which more than one lakh people have been sent to safe places.
