NITI Aayog Meeting: Mamata Banerjee Accuses Central Government After Walkout | ABP News
The NITI Aayog meeting is currently underway in Delhi under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Besides the BJP-ruled Chief Ministers, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also attended. It has been reported that Banerjee left the meeting midway. She explained her departure, stating, “I was speaking, and my mic was cut off. I asked why I was being interrupted and accused of discrimination. Despite my presence, which should have been welcomed, there was preferential treatment for the ruling party. As the only Opposition representative, I was prevented from speaking. This not only insults Bengal but also all regional parties.” The Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader addressed reporters after exiting the meeting.
