Symptoms include fever, headaches, breathing difficulties, and sore throat, with severe cases leading to encephalitis and coma within 24 to 48 hours. The incubation period can range from 4 to 45 days. Since no vaccine or cure exists, prevention is the only way to avoid infection by following hygiene and avoiding contact with bats and pigs.
