Anil Vij took the oath as a minister in the Nayab Singh Saini government, stating, "I swear in the name of God that I will uphold the Constitution of India with true faith and allegiance. I will preserve the sovereignty and integrity of India, discharge my duties as a minister of Haryana with sincerity and pure conscience, and do justice to all people without fear, favor, affection, or ill-will." 

Anil Vij, who is 71 years old and a senior leader, had ambitions to become the Chief Minister but had to be content with a cabinet minister position. Anil Vij, who has been elected seven times as MLA, was seen in yellow attire on Thursday, smiling and singing songs, reflecting his long-standing political aspirations.
