Nashik: Farmers tensed over govt's decision to ban onion export

The central government has banned the export of all varieties of onions with immediate effect. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued a notification. According to the notification, "the export of all varieties of onions is banned with immediate effect."

After this decision taken by the Union government, the farmers and consumers of onion are tensed over the prevailing situation.
