Monsoon Fury Unleashes Chaos Across India, Floods and Landslides Ravage Multiple States | ABP News
The monsoon is currently at its peak across the country. There is hardly any part of India that is not experiencing rain at the moment. While the rainfall has brought relief from the heat, it has also caused significant disruption to daily life. From Uttar Pradesh and Bihar to Gujarat, the wrath of nature is at its extreme. Heavy rains in Gujarat have turned cities into lakes. Landslides are occurring in the mountains, while floods and rains are wreaking havoc in the plains. In Uttar Pradesh, dozens of districts are severely affected by floods and rains. In Pilibhit, crocodiles are roaming in houses, officials' homes are submerged, and roads have turned into ponds. Similarly, several areas in Gujarat are also suffering from the impact of heavy rain. Continuous rainfall in Dwarka has transformed the city into a sea, with water everywhere—from homes and shops to roads and alleys. In Maharashtra, the water level of rivers has risen due to heavy rains. The administration is on alert in Ratnagiri's Raigad, and evacuation processes are ongoing. In Sangameshwar taluka of Ratnagiri district, water has flooded areas like Kond, Ambed-Dingni-Karjuve, Dhamni, Kasba, and the district council roads in Phanaswane areas. Consequently, traffic has been halted in these areas, and everyone has been alerted.
