Manoj Mukund Naravane to take over as new Army Chief today
Lieutenant General Manoj Mukund Naravane will take over as the 28th Indian Army chief on Tuesday. Mukund will be taking over the reins from General Bipin Rawat, who is retiring from the post today. General Rawat, however, has been appointed as country's first Chief Of Defence Staff (CDS). Naravane has also headed the Eastern Command of the Army. Take a look at our report to know more.
