Manmohan Singh Last Rites: Vehicle Carrying Former PM's Mortal Remains Reaches Nigambodh Ghat
Manmohan Singh's last journey, walking alongside the vehicle carrying his mortal remains. Dr. Singh, who passed away at the age of 92 on December 26, 2024, at AIIMS, will be cremated with full state honors. His final rites are scheduled for December 28, 2024, at 11:45 AM at Nigambodh Ghat in New Delhi. The government has decided to honor his legacy by ensuring his cremation is conducted with military respect. The Ministry of Home Affairs has also requested the Ministry of Defence to make necessary arrangements, reflecting the nation’s deep respect for his contributions and leadership.
