Maharashtra to start home delivery of liquor

After Chhattisgarh and Punjab, Maharashtra will also soon start home delivery of liquor. This step has been taken after long queues were seen outside liquor shops as soon as the relaxations during Lockdown 3.0 allowed the sale of alcohol in non-containment zones. The state government hopes that this decision will help in reducing crowding in front of such stores.
