Madhya Pradesh News: Tourists Spot A Tigress Bathing In The Scorching Heat In Mandla | ABP News
The number of tourists visiting the Kanha National Park in Madhya Pradesh has increased in the last couple of days. This rise in visitors to the Park is being attributed not just to school vacations, but also the searing heat, with many people coming here to take refuge in the forest cover which reduces the temperature by a couple of degrees. "The temperature inside (the forest) is down by at least 3 to 4 degrees. The outdoors is really hot, but the inside is much cooler. We get a sense of freshness here. We feel exhausted outside, but not so much within the forest," says Tourist. Not just humans even animals are finding ways to keep themselves cool in the intense heat conditions. Tourists spotted a tigress resting in a water pond. The Kanha Tiger Reserve is spread over an area of approximately 2000 square kilometres and is home to tigers, wild dogs and Barasingha among other wild animals.
