Lok Sabha Elections: Women Voters In Burqa Cross-Checked for Identity Verification in Hajipur Bihar

Voting is taking place on 49 seats for the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2024. The 8 states/union territories where voting is taking place in Phase-5 include Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. In this phase, voting is taking place in cities like Mumbai, Thane, Lucknow. Lok Sabha elections 2024 have now reached the last phase. After the fifth phase of voting, only two phases will remain. Here in Hajipur, Bihar a female is employed to check the women voters in burqa and their identity. Some are offended by the same and some are open to the checking as per the rules and regulations.
