Varun Gandhi on Thursday stood in support of Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Maneka Gandhi from Sultanpur Lok Sabha seat in Uttar Pradesh. For the first time he has entered the electoral fray. Till now Varun Gandhi has remained out of the Lok Sabha election field. Varun Gandhi, who attended a public event for the first time after being denied ticket from Pilibhit Lok Sabha seat, asked for votes for his mother. Making an emotional appeal to the people of Sultanpur, he said that I have come here for the mother of Sultanpur. During this election rally, Varun Gandhi did not mention PM Modi or CM Yogi even once. His entire focus remained limited to Sultanpur, mother and Maneka.
