Lok Sabha Elections 2024: TMC Leader Murdered In West Bengal Amid Elections | ABP News
A big incident once again came to light before voting in West Bengal. A night before voting here, i.e. on Friday night (24 May 2024), a Trinamool Congress leader was murdered in Mahishadal in the East Midnapore district.
It is alleged that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers have murdered him. The slain leader has been identified as Sheikh Mabul. He was a former member of the gram panchayat. According to the Trinamool Congress, Sheikh Mabul was returning home on a bike after dropping a party worker at around 11 pm on Friday when they were attacked by the BJP workers. The attackers stabbed them several times with sharp weapons. After his death, the accused threw his body in the pond.
