Lok Sabha Election 2024: Deepender Singh Hooda vs Arvind Sharma in Haryana's Rohtak Seat | ABP News

Haryana's VIP seat will witness a tough fight between Congress leader Deepender Singh Hooda and BJP's Arvind Sharma as today marks the sixth phase of voting for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Voting for 58 seats spread across eight states and Union Territories will begin shortly. Polling will start at 7 a.m. and end at 6 p.m. Voting will be held in 14 seats in Uttar Pradesh, 10 in Haryana, eight in West Bengal, seven in Bihar, six in Odisha, four in Jharkhand, and one in Jammu and Kashmir.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Rohtak constituency of Haryana was won by Arvind Kumar Sharma from the BJP. Deepender Singh Hooda, who belonged to the INC, was the runner-up, losing by 7,503 votes. Arvind Kumar Sharma received 573,845 votes, securing victory by a margin of 7,503 votes.
