Ladakh: ITBP soldiers hoist national flag at 17,000 feet 

The soldiers of ITBP in Ladakh hoisted the flag at the height of 17000 feet. On the occasion of 74th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has hoisted the tricolor from the ramparts of the Red Fort. 

In view of the COVID-19 epidemic, school children did not participate in the Independence Day celebrations this year. PM Modi has become the fourth Prime Minister and the first non-Congress Prime Minister of the country to hoist the tricolor from the ramparts of the Red Fort for the seventh consecutive time.
