Kolkata Doctor Rape-Murder Case: Protests and Strikes Continue by Government Hospital Doctors in Kolkata

During today's hearing, the court admitted a petition from the victim's family for a court-monitored probe, citing doubts about the ongoing investigation. Protests by resident doctors continue, calling for a CBI inquiry into the case. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has pledged to transfer the case to the CBI if significant progress isn't made by Sunday​
