The CBI suspects that ASI Anup Dutta may be withholding information. The BJP has called for a 12-hour bandh in West Bengal today, Wednesday (August 28). This follows a protest in Kolkata on Tuesday (August 27) over a rape-murder case, during which demonstrators attempted to march to the state secretariat, 'Nabanna.' The situation escalated as clashes broke out between the protesters and the police, leading to a police lathi charge and the use of water cannons. In response to the police action, the BJP announced the bandh on August 28.
