Kathua Terror Attack: Martyr Vinod Bhandari Leaves Behind 3-Month-Old Daughter and 4-Year-Old Son
The bodies of the five soldiers martyred in the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir were brought to Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun on Tuesday. Many leaders, including state Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, Cabinet Minister Premchand Aggarwal, and Soldier Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi, paid tribute to the fallen soldiers. After the homage, the soldiers' bodies were taken to their native villages and cremated with full military honours. Meanwhile, security forces intensified their search operation in a high-altitude forest area in the Doda district after an encounter with terrorists on Tuesday evening. Special forces have been deployed, and the search scope has been expanded to find the terrorists responsible for the deadly attack on an army patrol in the Kathua district of the Jammu region. Officials have also involved the NIA in the investigation. The attack in Kathua resulted in the martyrdom of five soldiers and left five others injured.
