On BJP MLAs' protest in Karnataka Assembly over MUDA alleged scam, State Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister HK Patil on July 25, called it a political drama. While addressing the media, he said that he met the protesting BJP MLAs as they were his colleagues."This is nothing but a political drama...It is ridiculous...The CM because of the allegations against him and MUDA, appointed an inquiry commission. What more do you want?... I met them (protesting BJP MLAs) as they are my colleagues, but we did not discuss the issue," said HK Patil.
BJP MLAs staged a night-long protest inside the Karnataka Vidhan Soudha, sleeping in the assembly to demand a discussion on the alleged MUDA scam. After the overnight protest, MLAs were seen exercising outside the Vidhan Soudha.
