J&K encounter: Army pays tribute to Martyr Ramesh in Bihar
In Bihar, mortal remains of CRPF Constable GD Ramesh Ranjan was brought to Patna Airport on Thursday. Ranjan lost his life on Wednesday, in an attack by terrorists on a check-post in Parim Pora, in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar. The army paid tribute to the martyr in Bihar on Thursday.
Two militants and a CRPF man were killed in a brief encounter on the outskirts of Srinagar on Wednesday morning.
According to sources, the motorcycle-borne militants fired on a CRPF patrol party and killed one CRPF man. The CRPF retaliated by shooting down both the militants.
