Jahangirpuri News Update: Heavy force deployed ahead of anti-encroachment drive

Preparations for anti-encroachment drive are underway in Delhi's Jahangirpuri area. Heavy police force has been deployed in the area and the MCD is gearing up to raze the illegal buildings down.

Background
MCD has decided to demolish illegal houses built in Jahangirpuri. These houses are built on encroached lands. In this regard, MCD had sought deployment of 400 policemen from Delhi Police.
