Jahangirpuri News: Delhi police puts barricades, shuts road in front of mosque | ABP News

ABP News reached the mosque where allegedly the procession was attacked. The road in front of the mosque has been shut for general use. The Delhi police has cordoned off the area with the use of barricades.

Background

Ruckus was created during the Hanuman Jayanti procession in Jahangirpuri, Delhi on Saturday evening. According to the Police, stone-pelting and sporadic arson were done during the procession. The incident took place near Kushal Cinema at around 5:30 pm. During the incident, many police officials were injured brutally. As per the report, more than ten investigative teams have been constituted to probe the matter. These teams are a part Special Cell and Crime Branch of Delhi Police.

On the other hand, security has been beefed up all over the Capital.
