On Wednesday, North MCD took action against illegal constructions here. The North Delhi Municipal Corporation removed temporary encroachments from the area in the presence of heavy police force.

During the removal of temporary encroachments, MCD officials removed temporary kiosks and thatches on the pavement with the help of 7 bulldozers. During the drive, 8 trucks and 4 Mini Tata trucks were deployed by the corporation. Along with this, 70-80 employees and officers of the corporation and adequate police force were present too.
