Asaduddin Owaisi, the president of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehad Muslimeen (AIMIM), questioned the Delhi Police on Monday about the violence that occurred during the Hanuman Jayanti parade in Delhi's Jahangirpuri district on Saturday. During the news conference, Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana disputed reports that saffron flags were attempted to be hoisted at a mosque in Jahangirpuri on the day of the rioting. Those involved in the violent riots will not be spared, according to Asthana, regardless of class, creed, or religion.
