This success comes as a relief following a tragic incident in Kishtwar, where an encounter on Friday resulted in the martyrdom of two soldiers, including Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) Naib Subedar Vipin Kumar and Soldier Arvind Singh. The encounter in the Pingnal Dugadda forest area of Chhatru police station saw four soldiers injured, with two succumbing to their injuries during treatment. The security forces' recent victories highlight their ongoing efforts to combat militancy in the region.
