J&K News: Encounter Breaks Out Between Security Forces, Terrorists In Pulwama | ABP News

An encounter broke out between the security forces and terrorists Nihama area of District Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, said Kashmir Zone Police. "Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow," the police said. The encounter comes just a day ahead of the results for the elections to the Lok Sabha polls. Earlier, in the joint operation of Jammu and Kashmir Police and Army, a large quantity of weapons were recovered in Kupwara. Security forces had said that these weapons were recovered under Operation Kot Nala. Chinar Corps tweeted and said, based on intelligence, Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted a search operation in the dense forests of Kupwara. During this, the hideout of the terrorists was busted. A large number of weapons and other equipment were recovered here.
