India & Russia conducts joint maneuvers in Bay of Bengal amid tension with China

The navies of India and Russia conducted joint maneuvers in the Bay of Bengal on Saturday for the second day amid continuing military tensions along the border with China.

This naval exercise is being carried out at a time when India is increasing deployment of its warships in the Indian Ocean in view of increasing tension along the border with China in eastern Ladakh.
