IMF projects contraction of global economy by 4.9 percent

Amid Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, the International Monetary Fund has made some troubling projections. The IMF has projected that the global economy with contract by 4.9 percent in the current fiscal year. The projection is 1.9 percent lower than the projection they made in April 2020.
