How will BJP MP's wife Sujata joining TMC affect the WB politics?

Bharatiya Janata Party MP Saumitra Khan's wife Sujata has joined Trinamool Congress (TMC). Her step might confuse the voters as it was Sujata who canvassed for Saumitra and helped him win the polls.
Talking about her step she said that there was no politics involved. "Let husband stay where he is, let the wife stay where she is, and let the politics remain out of it. No politics involved."
