'Home Voting' for senior citizens and Persons with Disabilities commences in Anantnag-Rajouri

Polling teams for 'Home Voting' of senior citizens and Persons with Disabilities were dispatched in Mendhar sub division of Poonch district of the Anantnag-Rajouri parliamentary constituency in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday. "Home voting in Mendhar for the Anantnag-Rajouri constituency has started. This will continue for 3 days, designated 19, 20, 21. For this purpose 34 teams have been dispatched which include police parties, micro observers. Sector and Zonal magistrate will also be present. They will help senior citizens and Persons with Disabilities cast their vote," says Polling Official. The Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha seat goes to the polls in the sixth phase of polling on May 25th. Polling officials have appealed to the voters of the constituency to come out in large numbers and exercise their franchise. This is the first parliamentary elections being held in Jammu and Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370.
