Himachal Pradesh: Landslide In Shimla Damages Six Vehicles | ABP News

The monsoon arrived in Himachal Pradesh on Thursday, June 27. The first rain of the monsoon caused heavy destruction in the state's capital, Shimla. Heavy rain late at night led to numerous issues for the residents. The heavy downpour brought debris onto the roads, damaging many vehicles. Traffic was also disrupted in several places due to the debris. Other areas, including Kangra, Sirmaur, and Chamba, also suffered damage due to the rain. In the Chamiana area of Shimla, three vehicles were buried under the debris.

The Chamiana area of Shimla also experienced severe destruction, with three vehicles buried under the debris. Vehicle owners were seen removing debris around their vehicles themselves. The rain has caused significant losses to the residents. In Shimla's Malyana area, rocks broke off and fell onto vehicles, damaging about six of them.

The Meteorological Center in Shimla had already issued an orange alert for heavy rains. Currently, the weather is clear in Shimla and its surrounding areas, but rains are forecasted to continue in the state until July 2.
