High Alert In Uttarakhand, Heavy Rain Causes Flood Like Situation | ABP News

Uttarakhand Meteorological Department Center Dehradun has issued a red alert regarding rain in the state. After this, holidays have been declared for all the Anganwadi centers and colleges in all the districts of the state. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for the next two days. According to Vikram Singh, Director of Meteorological Department Center, heavy to very heavy rains may occur in some areas of Nainital, Bageshwar, Champawat, Almora, Pithoragarh and Udham Singh Nagar districts of Uttarakhand. After the weather department issued the alert, the district magistrates of these districts have declared holidays in their districts from Anganwadi centers to colleges. Bikram Singh, director of the Meteorological Department Center Dehradun, told ABP Live that monsoon has reached Uttarakhand. There are many districts in Uttarakhand where there is a possibility of heavy rain. Due to this, rivers and streams can overflow. Landslides can occur, so before traveling, definitely check the weather department's warning once.
