Gujarat News: Canopy Of Rajkot Airport Terminal Collapses Just A Day After Delhi Airport Incident

A canopy at the passenger pickup and drop area outside the Rajkot airport terminal in Gujarat has collapsed amid heavy rains. The incident comes a day after a similar incident at the Delhi airport killed a person and injured six. This is the third such incident in as many days. No injury has been reported yet. The Rajkot International Airport was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 27, 2023. The Rajkot incident was the third airport terminal canopy collapse in three days. On Thursday, the canopy of the newly inaugurated Dumna airport terminal in Jabalpur collapsed. The Jabalpur airport building was inaugurated by PM Modi on March 10 this year.
