The Aam Aadmi Party is boosting up its events in Gujarat as it prepares for the Gujarat elections later this year. Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi Chief Minister, and Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Chief Minister, began their two-day journey to Gujarat with a visit to the Sabarmati Ashram. The two leaders were observed spinning the charkha at Mahatma Gandhi's Ashram's 'Hriday Kunj.' Mahatma Gandhi and his wife Kasturba Gandhi used to live in Hriday Kunj.
