Govt Wants To Set Records: SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav Attacks Centre Over Howrah-CSMT Rail Derailment | ABP News

Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav reacted to the Howrah-CSMT Express derailment near Chakradharpur on July 30, criticising the central government for its handling of recent crises. He mocked the government, saying, "They seem to be setting records for everything—first with paper leaks and now with train accidents. Despite their claims of safety and their substantial budget for it, accidents continue to occur. The government should support the families of the deceased and implement measures to prevent such incidents in the future."

On the Wayanad landslide, Yadav added, "During the G20, the government made grand claims, yet now we see landslides in Wayanad and Uttarakhand. The government must reveal its plans to address such disasters."
