Goa CM Pramod Sawant inspects NH-66 following recent Landslide | ABP News
Chief Minister of Goa Pramod Sawant visited the Goa-National Highway 66 to assess the damage caused by a landslide. In a conversation with ANI, he also discussed the upcoming inauguration of a National Highway that will link various roads around Manohar International Airport. He added that Union Highways and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari will be the one to inaugurate the project and that all the people from Goa are welcomed. “We are inaugurating the National Highway connecting road of Manohar International Airport tomorrow. Nitin Gadkari is coming to this program tomorrow. There will be a function... I invite all the people of Goa. It is one of the beautiful roads...which we are going to inaugurate tomorrow.” Earlier, in view of the alert for rains issued by the India Meteorological Department of India (IMD), Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on July 07 announced that all the schools from pre-primary to the 12th standard will remain closed on July 08. The Chief Minister said that this order is only for schools, as, all government offices and everything else will function as per their schedule.
