Fuel prices witness steep hike in Delhi; Petrol surges to Rs 71.26 per litre
The fuel prices saw a steep rise in Delhi today as the Union Territory government increased Value Added Tax (VAT) on Petrol and Diesel both. The diesel price went up by Rs 7.10 a litre whereas petrol by Rs 1.67 per litre. Now petrol is available for Rs 71.26 per litre as against Rs 69.59 per litre. On the other hand, diesel rates rose to Rs 69.39 a litre
