FIR registered against Congress' Digvijaya Singh over fake tweet on Khargone conflict

Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh is in hot water after the state police filed a complaint against him under numerous sections of the Indian Penal Code in connection with a false tweet. Action would be done, according to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Home Minister Narottam Mishra. Singh had earlier today tweeted a photo of a guy hanging saffron flags on the minarets of a mosque while a group appeared to cheer him on with clubs and swords, querying whether the Khargone administration had permitted people to march through the streets wielding swords.
