The Delhi police have claimed that the Hanuman Jayanti procession was held without official permission. The police claimed that the third procession was not officially allowed. The attendees refuted the claims and said that all permissions were taken from the authorities.  

Background
A ruckus was created during the Hanuman Jayanti procession in Jahangirpuri, Delhi on Saturday evening. According to the Police, stone-pelting and sporadic arson were done during the procession. The incident took place near Kushal Cinema at around 5:30 pm. During the incident, many police officials were injured brutally. As per the report, various investigative teams have been constituted to probe the matter. These teams are a part Special Cell and Crime Branch of Delhi Police. On the other hand, security has been beefed up all over the Capital.
