Farmers Protest in Karnal: Ban on internet services extended by a day

Farmers held a mega march and gheraoed the district headquarters in Haryana's Karnal after talks with the BJP-led state government, over the various demands of farmers failed. Mobile internet services were suspended in Karnal and the four adjoining districts.  Prohibitory orders under Section 144 banning gathering of people were imposed in Karnal.
