Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal, known for his versatile acting roles and great acting skills which have earned him fame in a very short period, turned 36 on Thursday. Kaushal started his career by assisting director Anurag Kashyap on the sets of gangs of Wasseypur. His first lead role was in the independent drama film “Masaan” in 2015, which was loved by the Indian audience. The film was selected for the screening at the Cannes Film Festival, where it won two awards. But Vicky Kaushal got a lasting impression with his performances in “Raazi”, “Sanju”, “Uri: The Surgical Strike” and “Sardar Udham”. His upcoming projects are Love & War with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali which is going to be released on 25 Dec 2025. He won awards such as the National Film Award for Best Actor for the film Uri: The Surgical Strike, and Filmfare award and IIFA Award for Best Supporting Actor. Vicky Kaushal is an engineer turned actor; he did his engineering at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology; he started learning acting at Kishore Namit Kapoor's academy. This further pushed him to make his career in acting. Vicky Kaushal married one of the top actresses of Bollywood Katrina Kaif back in 2021 in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. He is the recipient of the National Film Award for Best Actor and a Filmfare Award and has appeared in Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list of 2019.
