'End of an Era': Union Min Nitin Gadkari mourns passing of Bollywood singer
Lata Mangeshkar, the legendary Bollywood singer and recipient of the Bharat Ratha, died on February 6 after a month-long struggle with COVID-19. She was 92 years old when she died. The news has saddened the country, which is mourning the loss of its 'Nightangle.' Lata Mangeshkar's death marks the end of an era, said Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. He remarked that Lata Mangeshkar will always be an inspiration for the country during his last visit to the singer in the hospital.
