EC chairs meeting ahead of Bihar assembly elections date announcement

According to the information, this time Bihar Assembly elections can be held in three to four phases. However, in 2015, the assembly elections were held in five phases. 

Today the dates of Bihar assembly elections will be announced. The Election Commission will announce the dates for the election of the 243-seat assembly by holding a press conference at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi at 12.30 pm. The term of the Bihar Legislative Assembly ends on 29 November 2020.
