Doda Terrorist Attack: Jhunjhunu's martyr soldier Ajay Singh will be cremated today

In a jungle area of Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir, a military officer along with 5 security personnel were martyred in a clash with terrorists. Officials provided this information on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

Officials said that troops from the National Rifles and a special operations group of Jammu and Kashmir Police started a cordon and search operation in the Desa forest area near Dhari Gote Urbagi around 8:00 PM. This led to an encounter that lasted for more than 20 minutes, resulting in one officer and four soldiers wounded in the exchange of gunfire. The injured were taken to the hospital where their conditions were serious, and unfortunately, four of them succumbed to their injuries.
