The Udhampur-based Northern Command reiterated its commitment to rooting out terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, following a fatal encounter in Doda district. Highlighting ongoing joint operations with Jammu and Kashmir Police, the Army emphasized efforts to eliminate foreign terrorists infiltrating from across the border. Operations have focused on Udhampur, Doda, and Kishtwar districts in the Jammu region and subsequently in the Kashmir Valley, aiming to ensure peace and security.
