Doda Attack: Grief at Martyred Soldier Ajay Singh's Jhunjhunu Home, Family in tears

In a jungle area of Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir, a military officer along with 5 security personnel were martyred in a clash with terrorists. Officials provided this information on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

Officials stated that personnel from the National Rifles and Jammu-Kashmir Police's special operations group initiated a joint cordon and search operation in the Dhari Gote Urbagi area of Desa forest around 8:00 PM. Subsequently, a firefight ensued, lasting over 20 minutes, resulting in one officer, four soldiers, and one policeman sustaining injuries. The injured were evacuated to a hospital where their condition turned critical, leading to the death of four of them.
