Dhoni had planned to announce retirement on 15 August: Mihir Diwakar

Former captain of Indian cricket team Mahendra Singh Dhoni has announced his retirement from international cricket on Instagram. In his Instagram post, he said that I should be considered retired now. He thanked the fans for their support.

While talking to ABP news, his friend and manager, Mihir Diwakar said that MS Dhoni's retirement announcement is not sudden. MSD planned to announce his retirement on Independence Day.
